The 2016 call for proposals is now closed. Results will be announced on June 15.

FRIDA will provide USD 20,000 through the LACNIC Grants program to support an initiative focusing on the transition to IPv6 and the deployment of the new protocol within the region. Organizations or research teams may submit their proposals for executing projects and/or conducting research that will help overcome the challenges posed by the transition and promote IPv6 deployment at local or regional level. Project proposals must include a detailed budget and timetable and propose concrete processes for measuring their impact.

Organizations interested in learning more about IPv6 deployment in the LAC region can obtain further information on LACNIC’s IPv6 Portal.

We encourage organizati0ns and companies working on IPv6 deployment in the public and/or private sectors to apply.
